Terms of service
These terms apply to everyone who uses this website — visitors, people booking a consultation, and referral partners. Using the site means you accept them.
Last updated 5 August 2026. Global Hire, Suite 210, 4935 – 55 Ave NW, Edmonton, Alberta T6B 3S3, Canada.
Nothing here is immigration advice
This website is information about our services. It is not immigration or legal advice, it is not an assessment of your eligibility, and reading it does not make you our client.
A professional relationship begins only when we have both signed a written retainer agreement and it has taken effect. Until then, nothing said in an enquiry, a reply, or a free consultation should be relied on as advice for your situation, and no obligation of ours arises. Immigration law changes, and every case turns on its own facts.
On this page
1. Using the site
You may use this site for its intended purpose: learning about our services, booking a consultation, contacting us, applying to the referral programme, or using an account we have given you.
You may not attempt to gain access to any part of the site or database you have not been given, interfere with its operation, submit false or automated form entries, scrape it, or use it to send anyone unsolicited messages.
2. Advice, outcomes and guarantees
Immigration decisions are made by government authorities, not by us. No one can guarantee an outcome, and we do not. Nobody at Global Hire, and no referral partner, is permitted to promise you a visa, a permit, permanent residence, a job, or a processing time.
Only an authorised representative may give immigration advice or represent you for a fee in Canada — a lawyer, a Quebec notary, or a consultant in good standing with the College of Immigration and Citizenship Consultants. Referral partners are none of these. They may introduce you to us and nothing more.
If anyone claiming to represent Global Hire tells you otherwise, asks you for a fee, or asks you to send them money, please tell us immediately.
3. Consultations and bookings
Booking a time reserves a slot; it does not create a professional relationship. We may need to move or cancel an appointment, and we will give you as much notice as we can and offer an alternative.
Where a booking type is free, it is genuinely free — you will not be asked for payment details for it. Where a booking type is paid, the fee is shown before you confirm.
4. Payments and refunds
Payments are taken through Stripe. Card details are entered on Stripe's own page and never reach our servers.
A paid consultation is refundable if you cancel with at least 24 hours' notice, and if we cancel or cannot attend. Fees for professional work under a signed retainer are governed by that retainer, not by this page.
Where tax applies to our professional fee it is shown as its own line before you pay. Government fees and other disbursements are collected on your behalf and are not taxed by us, because they are not a supply we make.
Refunds on services paid for online
Fees are earned as work is done, so what can be returned depends on how far your file has gone:
- Before we begin work — if you change your mind before we have started preparing your application, we will normally refund the professional fee, less any cost already incurred on your behalf.
- Once work has started — the professional fee covers time and expertise already spent. A refund at this stage is at Global Hire's discretion and will reflect the work completed.
- Once your application has been submitted — the professional fee is not refundable. The work has been performed.
Government fees are paid to the government on your behalf. Once paid to them we cannot return them; any refund of a government fee is decided by the government under its own rules, not by us.
No refund is a guarantee of any immigration outcome, and a refused application is not by itself a ground for refund — the work was still done. If you want to cancel, tell us as early as you can, because the earlier it is the more can usually be returned. Ask in writing and we will reply with a decision and the reason for it.
5. Accounts
Accounts on this site are issued by us — there is no public sign-up for the dashboard, and partner accounts exist only after an application has been approved.
Keep your password to yourself and do not let anyone else use your account. Tell us at once if you think someone else has access. We may suspend an account we believe is compromised or is being misused.
6. Referral partners
If you are a referral partner, the referral programme terms also apply to you, and where the two documents differ on a programme matter, those terms govern.
Partners are independent introducers. They are not employees or agents of Global Hire, and we are not responsible for statements a partner makes that go beyond what we have published.
7. Our content and your content
The text, design, logo and materials on this site belong to Global Hire or are used with permission. You may share our pages and your own referral link. You may not copy the site, rebuild it, or use our name or logo in advertising without our written agreement.
What you send us — an enquiry, an application, a description of your situation — stays yours. You give us permission to use it for the purpose you sent it for, as set out in our privacy policy. Do not send us anyone else's personal information unless you have their permission.
8. Availability
We try to keep the site available, but we do not promise it will be uninterrupted or error-free. We may change, suspend or withdraw any part of it, including the referral programme, on reasonable notice.
9. Liability
Nothing in these terms limits liability that cannot be limited by law, including for fraud, or for professional obligations owed to a client under a signed retainer.
Subject to that: the site is provided as it is; we are not liable for indirect or consequential loss, lost profits, or loss arising from a decision you took in reliance on general information on this site rather than on advice given to you under a retainer. Our total liability arising from your use of this site is limited to the amount you paid us through it in the twelve months before the claim.
10. Governing law
These terms are governed by the laws of the Province of Alberta and the federal laws of Canada that apply there, and the courts of Alberta have jurisdiction. If any part of these terms is held unenforceable, the rest continues to apply.
