1. What we collect

If you apply to be a referral partner

Your name, email address, phone number, country of residence, how you heard about us, whether you are a creator, the platforms and audience size you describe, what you plan to do, and any company name. You also choose a password, which is stored by our authentication provider as a cryptographic hash — we never see it and cannot recover it.

If you are an approved partner

The above, plus your referral code, the referrals credited to you, their statuses, and the commission recorded and paid. Payment details you enter are held to pay you.

One person may hold one partner account. To notice a second one, we compare the phone number and payout details on partner accounts, and we keep a random identifier in the browser you apply or sign in with (see section 4). Where two accounts look like the same person, a member of our staff reviews them — nothing is decided automatically.

If you write to us through the contact form

Your name, email address, optional phone number and country, the topic you choose, and whatever you write in the message. If you arrived through a partner's referral link, the referral code is recorded with your message.

If you book a consultation

Your name, contact details, the time you chose, anything you tell us about your matter, and — if the booking type is paid — a record of the payment. Card details are entered on Stripe's own payment page and are never sent to or stored on our servers.

Automatically

Our hosting provider records ordinary web server information such as IP address, browser type and the pages requested, to serve the site and to detect abuse. We do not run advertising trackers, analytics profiling, or third-party marketing pixels on this site.

2. If someone referred you

A referral partner can submit your details to us directly — your name, contact details, country, what you are looking for, how and when you would like to be contacted, and a short description of your situation.

We require the partner to confirm that they know you and have your permission before they can submit anything, and we record the exact wording they agreed to along with the date and time. We use those details only to contact you about immigration services.

If you did not agree to this, tell us and we will delete the record. Use the contact form and say so. You do not have to give a reason, and we will confirm when it is done.

3. Why we hold it

We do not sell personal information. We do not share it for anyone else's marketing. Sending us an enquiry does not add you to a mailing list.

4. Cookies, including the referral cookie

This site uses a small number of cookies, all of which exist to make it work rather than to profile you.

CookieWhat it doesHow long
gh_ref Records which referral partner sent you, so they are credited if you go ahead. It holds a partner's referral code — not your name, and nothing about you. Up to 400 days from your most recent visit through a referral link, and less on browsers that cap it
gh_ref_first Records when that referral was first seen, so attribution disagreements can be settled from a record. Up to 400 days
gh_device A random identifier kept in your browser when you apply to be a referral partner or sign in to the partner portal, so we can notice one device opening several partner accounts. It holds no name and nothing about you or your device, and we store only a scrambled copy of it. Up to 400 days from your most recent application or sign-in, or until you clear it
Sign-in session Keeps you signed in to the partner portal or the administrator dashboard. Only set if you sign in. Until you sign out or it expires

You can clear or block these in your browser at any time. Clearing the referral cookie does not affect you at all — it only means the partner who introduced you may not be credited.

5. Who else sees it

We use a small number of service providers to run this site. Each is given only what it needs, and none of them may use it for their own purposes.

ProviderWhat for
VercelHosting the website
SupabaseDatabase and sign-in accounts
ResendSending the emails this site generates
StripeTaking payment for paid bookings. Card details go to Stripe directly, not to us.
Google Calendar and ZoomOnly where a consultation is scheduled through them, and only the booking details needed to create the appointment

A referral partner is not shown the contact details of people who reached us through their link. They see enough to recognise someone they referred and to follow that referral's progress — not a stranger's phone number.

We may also disclose information where the law requires it, or to establish or defend a legal claim.

6. Where it is stored

Our providers store and process information on servers that may be outside Canada, including in the United States. Information held in another country may be accessible to that country's courts and law-enforcement authorities under its own laws. By using this site you understand that this transfer takes place.

7. How long we keep it

We delete sooner where you ask and no legal obligation requires us to keep it.

8. Your rights

You can ask us to:

Ask through the contact form. We will respond within 30 days. We may need to confirm who you are first, so that we do not hand someone's information to the wrong person.

If you are not satisfied with our response, you can complain to the Office of the Privacy Commissioner of Canada (priv.gc.ca), or to the privacy regulator in your own province or country. Residents of Alberta, British Columbia and Quebec have provincial regulators with their own powers.

9. Security

The site is served over HTTPS. Sign-in is handled by a dedicated authentication provider and passwords are stored only as hashes. Access to the database is restricted by row-level security so that a signed-in partner can read only their own records, and the administrator dashboard is reachable only with an authorised account.

No system is perfectly secure. If a breach ever affected your information in a way that creates a real risk of significant harm, we will notify you and the relevant regulator as the law requires.

10. Children

This site is not intended for children, and the referral programme is open only to adults. We do not knowingly collect information from a child. Where a family matter involves a minor, their information reaches us from a parent or guardian in the course of the matter itself.

11. Changes

If we change this policy we will update the date at the top. If a change materially affects how we use information we already hold, we will tell the people affected by email.
